Their reasoning is straightforward. By Chris Matyszcz Have you tried getting customer service lately? Any sort of customer service from any sort of company? It's not been easy, has it? Especially when it comes to, say, airlines. Or Facebook. I, though, constantly wonder what's happening with phone carriers. Visiting carrier stores and talking to the salespeople is a long-time passion of mine, one that the pandemic largely curtailed. https://tinyurl.com/4f2pfja2

This will not stand. Today, T-Mobile unleashes wireless discounts for ALL seniors as its next Carrier Callout. Seniors need a break now more than ever. According to a Washington Post article, inflation is putting an additional strain on the country's 56 million residents over 65, with many relying on fixed incomes and limited savings to cover monthly costs. Seniors have worked long and hard enough and deserve a break when it comes to their wireless plan rate, especially when 75% of the 50 and over crowd say they rely on technology to stay connected. While many of our communities have been left behind in the digital divide - a problem even more stark within low income housing communities such as NYC”s New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residences - CWAers are working to bridge that gap and expand broadband access. https://tinyurl.com/2p8m2asu -- (Remove QRM from my email address to write to me diretly)

The carrier told customers that if they chose to upgrade, they'd get better roaming coverage and latency as well as extra features if they sprung for the $45 a month Visible Plus plan. Reviews among those who have successfully upgraded or signed up seem to be largely positive - most report seeing better speeds and signifi- cantly improved latency. (Though there are a few who say they don't really notice any difference between the legacy plan and the new one.) But for many other customers, the switch has been fraught with service and customer support issues. https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/26/23322458/visible-verizon-new-plans-upgrade-troubles-no-data-support
