With the trial now completed, Verizon can begin commercial deployment “in the near future,” according to a spokesperson. Verizon has dropped its objections to a $1.5 billion telecommunications award that went to competitor Lumen Technologies. Several counties in the Central Florida area had experienced a telephone outage, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said earlier. Well, the self-ascribed Un-carrier is gearing up for another legal battle, this time with AT&T, as the latter has made it clear it is unhappy over its competitor's recent marketing campaign alleging that AT&T and Verizon don't offer senior discounts unless they live in Florida. https://www.androidpolice.com/att-suing-t-mobile-over-seniors-ad-campaign/
