How to get a free iPhone 14 from Verizon or iPhone 14 Pro Max for just $99 By Hilda Scott published 1 day ago Here's how to get a free iPhone 14 from Verizon https://www.laptopmag.com/news/how-to-get-a-free-iphone-14-from-verizon-or-iphone-14-pro-max-for-just-dollar99 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Well, thanks "laptopmag," but I'm not interested in any of the array of Verizon Mobile "plans" you mention in your come-on. Verizon Mobile is trying to force me to spend a small fortune to replace the "4G LTE" phone that they now say isn't "4G LTE" anymore. Verizon Mobile says the "4G LTE" phone I thought would be working after the "3G" network was retired, must be replaced, so, apparently, Verizon Mobile feels that I'm good for at least another year of bait-and-switch-and-laugh treatment. But, hey, I'll just pass this along for the lawyers who read it, and hope that they can decode whatever "value" this proposition represents. Feel free to inform the rest of us. He thought it was a transient issue until his phone was only allowing emergency calls the next day. As of Tuesday, his phone still wasn't connecting properly. In fact, to receive some text messages and make most calls, he's been driving five blocks from his home near Grand Boulevard and Van Antwerp Road in Niskayuna to pick up reception. He said his partner and neighbors have been experiencing similar problems. When he went to the Verizon store on Balltown Road, he said employees told him normal reception won't= be returned until the middle of this week. https://dailygazette.com/2022/09/13/niskayuna-verizon-customers-experiencing-lengthy-disruption-of-service-back-to-last-week/ -- (Please remove QRM from my email address to write to me directly)

We moved from south Florida because of the traffic and craziness. We love Marion County and our town, but there is one issue that I have: internet options. Where I live, we only have one option for internet and that's CenturyLink DSL, which is terrible. We only get 10 Mbps (download) and 1 Mbps (upload). Not only is it slow, but it disconnects at least once a day. https://www.ocala-news.com/2022/09/17/resident-wants-better-faster-internet-options/ -- (Please remove QRM from my email address to write to me directly)

It was the only even-remotely-current thing I could find about Centurylink's history with 911 outages. If you are able, please send me some pointers to sites which have plain-language, accessible explanations of Centurylink's 911 service failures. Thank you. Bill Horne
