Internet rumors are circulating that the carrier will be implementing a new fee. And it's not a small one. The service provided has worked hard to set itself apart from competitors like Verizon and AT&T in recent years. And it has done a relatively good job at it. Its customer numbers have steadily increased due to its efforts. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/other/t-mobile-to-start-charging-its-customers-an-outrageous-new-fee/ar-AA13IllI

By Eli Blumenthal Over the last five years there has been, and to an extent continues to be, plenty of hype about what 5G will do. Driverless cars, remote surgery, the metaverse -- all buzzwords that have yet to materialize in any real way. One area where it has noticeably helped change our lives? It finally provides some long-overdue competition to cable companies for home broadband. I've been exploring whether 5G and technologies like it (known as "fixed wireless") could replace traditional home broadband over the past year, testing out midband solutions from Verizon and T-Mobile, as well as millimeter-wave options like Honest Networks. https://www.cnet.com/home/internet/why-i-switched-my-home-internet-back-to-spectrum-after-using-5g/

Verizon argues that the RFP is inconsistent with commercial practices and includes certain terms and conditions that are inadequately defined and should be clarified. https://www.gao.gov/products/b-420911

Which is exactly why we were left bewildered after receiving an interesting little press release from the carrier announcing the launch of its newest product -- a carry-on bag. T-Mobile calls its latest product -- made in collaboration with luggage expert Samsara -- the Un-Carrier On. Besides sporting T-Mobile's instantly recognizable Magenta color, the Un-Carrier On is undoubtedly among the most feature-loaded carry-on bags money can buy if we are to believe T-Mobile's claims. https://www.slashgear.com/1084656/t-mobile-made-a-smart-suitcase-and-its-actually-pretty-cool/

By J. Fingas Have you ever wanted to use your luggage as a workstation? No? Don't tell T-Mobile that, then. The provider and Samsara have unveiled a smart carry-on suitcase, the "Un-carrier On" (sorry about the pun), whose stand-out feature is the ability to double as a desk. Like a handful of other bag makers, T-Mobile thinks you'll rest your laptop on your baggage while you finish a must-send work email. That strikes us as potentially uncomfortable if the case sits on your lap, especially if you have to stare at T-Mobile's eye-searing magenta -- did we mention that's the only color option? https://www.engadget.com/t-mobile-un-carrier-on-smart-suitcase-172947176.html
