This bump in funding will have a direct and immediate impact on the Board’s ability to execute its mission of protecting workers’ rights and ensuring workers are able to join together to improve their working conditions by forming unions. https://cwa-union.org/news/e-newsletter/2022-12-22 -- (Please remove QRM for direct replies)

Verizon has agreed to pay a $950,000 civil penalty. In reaching this settlement, Verizon Wireless has admitted that it violated the FCC’s environmental and preservation rules by constructing wireless facilities before completing the necessary historical or environmental reviews and without onsite monitoring requested by tribes. To ensure that it does not violate environmental and preservation rules in the future, Verizon Wireless has agreed to implement a compliance plan that involves creating operating procedures, distributing a compliance manual, and establishing a compliance training program. https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=ba114f74-2f65-46f6-a60b-b33f1959f375
